Body
This comfortable and sleek cutaway NEX-style body is a scaled-down Jumbo at heart. The GN93CE has a solid spruce top and rosewood sides. The back is a three-piece construction with maple bindings.
Neck
The slim mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard which is decorated with abalone mother-of-pear position markers. The intonation is spot-on and fret action is fast with no noticeable fret-buzz.The factory fitted .12 strings are perhaps a little heavy for most players.
Hardware
The nut and bridge saddle are synthetic bone. The compensated split saddle contributes to the superior intonation. The tuners are high-quality gold die-cast with black buttons
Hardware
Takamine's GN93CE TK-40D preamp provides you with a rich and clear-sounding tone. The active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble enables you to shape the sound. The onboard integrated tuner is adequate and the unit also features a low battery indicator. The TK-40D is automatically activated by plugging in a standard instrument cable and powered by a single 9-volt battery.
